Terms of Sale

This is a translation, provided so you can read the terms in English. The French version is the one that applies.

By buying or downloading a product from LaFuransu and me, you accept the terms below.

❶ What you are buying

The products are digital: PDFs to download, online access to the site, audio, video. They are meant for personal or classroom use in education.

❷ Licence

Each licence is personal and cannot be transferred. The Family licence is for one household and its children. The Teacher licence is for a single teacher, for private lessons or a group of up to 10 pupils. The School licence covers a school, its teachers and its pupils, by quote. You may not:

❸ Prices and tax

Prices are shown in euros, US dollars or yen, depending on the page. Euro and dollar prices exclude tax: applicable taxes (VAT, etc.) are added at checkout depending on your country. Yen prices include Japanese consumption tax (10%). Payment is handled by Gumroad.

❹ Delivery

Once you have paid, you receive an access key by email and can download the PDF files from Gumroad. Enter the key on the site to open online access. Nothing is shipped.

❺ Duration of access and renewal

You may keep the PDF files you downloaded with no time limit. Online access to the site (audio, guides, updates) lasts one year from the date of purchase. After that it closes, and you can reopen it for another year by buying the renewal product, which comes with a new key. Teacher and School licences last one year and are renewable.

❻ Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer living in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days from purchase to withdraw, without giving a reason.

Our products are digital content supplied as soon as you pay (access key, PDF files, online access). By ticking the box at checkout, you ask for immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once supply has begun (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). Your receipt confirms this agreement.

If that box was not ticked, you can withdraw within 14 days by writing to us through the contact form. You are then refunded within 14 days, using the same payment method.

Otherwise, purchases are not refunded, except where a technical problem stops you using the product and we cannot fix it.

❼ Intellectual property

All content belongs to Cédric Rolando – LaFuransu and me. Reproducing it without permission is not allowed.

❽ Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Japanese law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of your country of residence.

If we disagree, please write to us first through the contact form: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the courts of Tokyo have jurisdiction. A consumer nevertheless keeps the right to bring a claim before the courts of their country of residence.
